FortiFlash 40 is a Class I, self-bonding, waterproof, vapor retarder membrane with self-sealing properties. It is ideally suited for use under floating or mechanically fastened wood panel subfloors under hardwood, carpet, laminate or resilient floors.

Under a mechanically attached wood panel sub-floor over concrete, the elastomeric base layer’s self-sealing properties help to reduce or prevent moisture migration around the fastener, thereby providing a monolithic layer of protection for the sub-floor and the finished flooring system.
