The Perfect Wall

Course Description

The concept of the Perfect Wall is probably the very best way to start learning about building science. It’s unbelievably helpful at describing the relationships between the control functions in our walls and the finish functions. This presentation explains the elements of the Perfect Wall, their relationship to each other, and why the wall works in every climate. We also discuss how standard cavity-insulated walls differ from the Perfect Wall, why they work, and what the big deal about the permeance of our building materials is.
