Owen Sound Ledgerock Ltd., often called Ledgerock, is a limestone extraction and stone cutting company. Established in 1958, Ledgerock is one of the most complete quarrying and fabricating companies in North America. The company currently operates four quarries in Southwestern Ontario which yield some of the world’s most spectacular limestone. Ledgerock is the leading producer of Eramosa Marble / Limestone, Algonquin Limestone, Hope Bay Limestone and Mara Limestone products.
For more than sixty years, Ledgerock has supplied stone throughout the world for a wide array of commercial, residential and landscaping projects. DRYWALL

Drywall stone comes from the thicker, more textured layers of stone in the quarry. Random drywall creates a rough and rustic dry stack look, while dimensional drywall creates a sturdy and sleek appearance. It is commonly used for small to medium sized retaining walls or edging around gardens, driveways, or paths. All drywall options can be either stacked dry or with mortar.

FLAGSTONE

Flagstone is a stone that splits naturally at varying thicknesses. Flagstone can be flat but often has an imperfect cleft appearance. All thicknesses are considered approximations due to the irregular naturally occurring seams within the stone. Commonly used for exterior patios and walkways, flagstone can also be used for interior installations of wall veneer or flooring.

OWEN SOUND BUFF LIMESTONE

Owen Sound Buff Limestone is formed in a similar manner to Eramosa, meaning it has a very distinct and complex grain pattern. However, the colour has much more of a buff tint to it and the grain is much flatter. It also tends to split apart easily, making it ideal for flagstone and other natural surface products. Limestone being a natural product will always vary in both colour and texture.
