Product Description

Thermafiber Industrial Felt is an economical mineral fiber board for thermal, fire protection, and sound control applications. The fine-fiber, semi-rigid composition makes industrial felt easy to handle. It is available in actual densities from 2.5 to 12 lb./cu. ft. and is suitable for temperatures up to 1,200°F (649°C). The wide range of densities make Thermafiber Industrial Felt adaptable for industrial applications in a broad scope of low- or high-temperature applications. On initial startup only, heat rise should not exceed 15°F per minute to allow binder to dissipate without excessive temperature rise. Thermal conductivity is not affected.
