Tremco’s AVC Membrane is a 1mm (40mils) self-adhered air and vapor control membrane consisting of a self-adhering SBS rubberized asphalt laminated to a tough, slip-resistant, cross-laminated polyethylene surface film.

Manufacturer Design Notes

Tremco’s AVC Membrane is designed for application to the structural deck or subdeck and will adhere to concrete, metal, wood, and exterior grade sheathing panels as part of a roofing membrane assembly. Tremco AVC Membrane can be applied as low as -10°C. It is important to ensure proper detailing of the AVC Membrane at all roof penetrations, joints, roof/wall transitions, and continuity with the wall air barrier.
